FAQ

What is your style of photography?

I immortalize emotions. My style of photography ranges from reportage to traditional photography with at times a rustic twist. My editing is based on the personalities and tones that best describe you and your event. When doing an engagement shoot, creative session for weddings or group shots I will give some guidance in order to capture the best images but during the event I let it flow as natural as possible. Just be you, forget I am there and I’ll take it from there.

How can we reserve your photography service and what are the payment methods?

For reservation, a signed agreement and 50% deposit is required. You can make the payment in via Bank tranafer, online payment portal (sent with invoice) or face to face with a card payment system. Once payment is made your date is then fully reserved and I will not accept any other clients for that date.

What will happen after the reservation?

After the reservation within a few weeks/days before the event we will arrange a meet-up either at a location we agree on, call or via Skype to catch up (which ever is more convenient and discuss the itinerary of your event. I will advise you on experience and best practice of things to consider to ensure your event will run smoothly and special moments are well captured. If you have any queries, please feel free to drop me an email (info@jobi-jphotography.com) or give me a call. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

What is the coverage on the day of the event?

Depending on what the event is and what we agree prior to the day I will stay with you as much as I can in order to cover every important moment of your special day. I leave whenever I know I have captured the best images.

Do you travel outside Luton and do you charge for travel?

I am an international photographer meaning that I will travel all over the world to make sure you get those great shots wherever you are. For locations up to a 80 mile radius this is inclusive of services offered. More than 80 miles would be a £65 fee. Most locations provide free parking, where this is not available the cheapest option would be sought. Cost of permit/parking will be added to your final invoice (with evidence(s)).  To ensure your event is covered sufficiently without incurring possible parking fee, please consider parking allocation for me and or my team. Where possible this will be one car.

When do we get to see our wedding photos or wedding album?

After I finish editing your wedding photos I will send your USB stick to you. Average turnaround time is between 2-4 weeks once received your online gallery will be uploaded. I use one of the best printers for Photo-books. An average time for an Album/Photobook is 6 weeks. For months within wedding season, Albums and Photo-books may take up to 3 months (but you will be duly informed and updated).

Photos, Copyright and watermark?

The number of photos is dependent on several factors such your packages, how many guests, how much activity and time in your event. Approximately an average full day wedding of 12 hours has between 300-500 edited photos. As a professional photographer I have copyright and own the intellectual property to the  images I create for you however, this does not mean you can’t use it for personal (but not commercial) use. Watermarks are for protecting the photos I use on the internet and portfolio, but final images delisvdel will not have the watermark on them.

Do you offer prints? (UK only)

Sadly, I do not offer prints, but I will happily forward you details on where you can get your images printed from as little as 13p

Can I get my money back if I cancel?

The deposit is not refundable if you cancel or change the date the service is required however, arrangements can be made for an alternative date if I’m availabia to accommodate.  If for whatever reason I fail to appear at the location or provide a replacement photographer at the time specified in the service schedule without informing you at least 1 week in advance, the deposit shall be refunded within 48 hours to the Client.

I look forward to hearing from you!
